During this hands-on experience, you'll:

  • Learn about our milking process and even try hand-milking one of our goats!
  • Feed the goats in the pasture area and discover how we care for them.
  • After trying your hand at milking, see how the professional and milking machine work and get a behind-the-scenes look at how we craft our gourmet cheeses.
  • Sample our fresh goat cheese and select your favorite handmade chocolate truffle (made with goat cheese) to complete the experience.

If you successfully milk one of our goats, you'll receive a special souvenir: the "Official Goat Milker" ribbon—perfect for showing off to friends!

Do you offer Kama'aina Rates ?

Yes, we provide Kama'aina rates to residents but we only honor them in person when proof of residency is provided.

Do I have to book a tour to visit Surfing Goat Dairy?

No, you don’t have to book a tour to visit our new café and gift shop! However, without booking a tour or experience, access to the farm is limited, and you won’t be able to interact with our goats or see the full workings of the dairy. If you want the full experience and a chance to meet the goats, we recommend booking a tour in advance.

Do I receive a discount by booking online?

Yes, all our tours are 10% off when booked online.

Are the tours self-guided?

No, all tours have a designated tour guide so you can have an expert explain to you how our small farm operates. Check out our tour options here.

Do you sell goat milk?

No, our farm focuses on our variety of cheeses and truffles. 

Do you cancel tours if it's raining?

No, we proceed with tours rain or shine! If there are extraordinary weather circumstances, we’ll reach out to you as soon as possible to keep you informed.

What's your "no show" policy?

If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. If we do not receive a cancellation in time, you will be charged as if you attended your booking. You can cancel by email or phone call.

Do you get to feed the goats?

Feeding any of our goats is only allowed as part of a tour or experience. If you feel a special connection to our senior goats, the Golden Girl Experience is the perfect fit for you! This adults-only tour offers a chance to interact and care for our senior mama goats in a more personal way.
